In addition to Sunday services, we hold a devotional prior to worship, Children's Sunday School, have an active women's group that meets monthly and we provide a monthly free food distribution to interested residents of Mercer County, Pennsylvania who need supplemental food assistance. We also have a Blessing Box that is available 24/7 where folks can "Take what they Need and Leave what they Can."

Janet Pratt
Senior Pastor
Pastor Janet has been serving the Methodist Circle of Faith charge (and previously Methodists United in Faith charge). The Methodist Circle of Faith charge encompasses four local churches in Hendersonville, Sandy Lake, Stoneboro and Jackson Center.
A graduate of Methodist Theological School of Ohio. Pastor Janet has been in pastoral ministry since 2012. Her passion is to "Make Jesus Known" to everyone in our community. Pastor Janet and her husband, Mike, have been serving together for most of their lives. They have two children, Hannah and Daniel, who also serve as pastors in the Harrisburg area. Pastor Janet and Mike approach ministry as a team. They are firmly rooted in their faith and believe that the Bible is the indisputable inspired Word of God. They also hold that salvation comes through faith and faith without works is dead because Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. Her favorite verse is Psalm 46:10--"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Monthly Free Food Distribution
Food Pantry
Vincent New Beginnings has partnered with the Mercer County Food Bank to provide a free Food Distribution each month. Food is set up so participants can pick which items they would like--not already pre-packed in a box. Recipients must be a resident of Mercer County, PA and fall within USDA guidelines. For more information email us at JCVincent.Church@gmail.com and request a registration form. Distribution Days are the fourth Wednesday of each month from 4:00--6:00pm with the exception of November and December, when the distribution falls on or near the holidays. In 2024, those distributions will be November 13 and December 18.

The Blessing Box
Food Pantry
Located at the front of Vincent New Beginnings Church, along Walnut Street, is our Blessing Box. Non-perishable food and grocery items are available to anyone who is need. The intent is to "Take what you Need, and Leave what you Can." It is available 24/7.

Vincent's Faithful Women
Women
Vincent's Faithful Women is a group that meets the first Wednesday of each month from March--December. They are active in serving the needs of the congregation and the community. Various fundraisers are held during the year, including making their well-known apple dumplings, peach dumplings, ham loaves and chicken pies. Funds raised are distributed at the end of the year to benefit local organizations such as Lakeview Area Meals on Wheels, Helping Hands, Mercer County Food Bank, Lakeview High School's Students for Charity, and more! Vincent's Faithful Women also volunteer to bake desserts that are included in the Meals on Wheels lunches and host dinners for the residents at the Lakeview Manor apartments, including a complete Thanksgiving Dinner with all the fixin's.

Meeting Information
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month in the Church Social Hall at noon, with a light lunch.
