Bible Stream on Shepherds StreamShepherd's Stream uses the World English Bible for Bible Stream. The World English Bible (WEB) is a revision of the American Standard Version (ASV) of 1901. The American Standard Version was a minor American revision of the English Revised Version of 1881 and became the foundation of several 20th century American versions, including the Revised Standard Version (RSV) and the New American Standard Bible (NASB).

2[Ish-bosheth], Saul`s son, [had] two men who were captains of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin (for Beeroth also is reckoned to Benjamin:2Sa 3:22 2Ki 5:2 2Ki 6:23
3and the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and have been sojourners there until this day).1Sa 31:7 Ne 11:33
4Now Jonathan, Saul`s son, had a son who was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the news came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel; and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it happened, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. His name was Mephibosheth.2Sa 9:3
5The sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ish-bosheth, as he took his rest at noon.2Ch 24:25 2Ch 25:27 2Ch 33:24
6They came there into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they struck him in the body: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.2Sa 2:23 2Sa 3:27 2Sa 20:10
