having known me from the first, if they are willing to testify, that after the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.Ac 22:5
Now I stand here to be judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers,Ac 26:8 Ac 23:6 Ac 24:15 Ac 24:21 Ac 28:20
which our twelve tribes, earnestly serving night and day, hope to attain. Concerning this hope I am accused by the Jews, King Agrippa!Ezr 6:17 Ezr 8:35 Mt 19:28 Lk 22:30 Jm 1:1 Rev 7:4-8

This I also did in Jerusalem. I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I gave my vote against them.Ac 7:58 Ac 8:1 Ac 8:3 Ac 9:13 Ac 9:26 Ac 22:4 Ac 22:19 Ac 22:20 1Co 15:9 Ga 1:13

When we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, `Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goad.`Ac 21:40 Ac 22:2
I said, `Who are you, Lord?` He said, `I am Jesus, whom you persecute.Ex 16:8 Mt 25:40 Mt 25:45 Jn 15:20 Jn 15:21
But arise, and stand on your feet, for to this end have I appeared to you, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of the things which you have seen, and of the things which I will reveal to you;Ac 9:6-9 Ac 22:10
