2They began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king."Zc 11:8 Mk 15:3-5 Jn 18:30
3Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered him, "So you say."Mt 27:11 Mk 15:2 Jn 18:33-37 1Ti 6:13

6But when Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if the man was a Galilean.Lk 13:1 Ac 5:37
7When he found out that he was in Herod`s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem in those days.Lk 3:1 Lk 13:31
8Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things about him. He hoped to see some miracle done by him.Lk 9:7-9 Mt 14:1 Mk 6:14

10The chief priests and the scribes stood, vehemently accusing him.Lk 23:2 Lk 23:5 Lk 23:14 Lk 23:15 Lk 11:53 Ac 24:5
11Herod with his soldiers humiliated him and mocked him. Dressing him in luxurious clothing, they sent him back to Pilate.Ac 4:27 Ac 4:28
12Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before that they were enemies with each other.Ps 83:4-6 Ac 4:27 Mt 16:1 Rev 17:13 Rev 17:14
13Pilate called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,Mt 27:21-23 Mk 15:14 Jn 18:38 Jn 19:4
14and said to them, "You brought this man to me as one that perverts the people, and see, I have examined him before you, and found no basis for a charge against this man concerning those things of which you accuse him.Lk 23:1 Lk 23:2 Lk 23:5
15Neither has Herod, for I sent you to him, and see, nothing worthy of death has been done by him.

17Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.Mt 27:15 Mk 15:6 Jn 18:39
18But they all cried out together, saying, "Away with this man! Release to us Barabbas!" --Mt 27:16-23 Mk 15:7-14 Jn 18:40 Ac 3:14
19one who was thrown into prison for a certain revolt in the city, and for murder.Lk 23:2 Lk 23:5 Ac 3:14
20Pilate spoke to them again, desiring to release Jesus,Mt 14:8 Mt 14:9 Mt 27:19 Mk 15:15 Jn 19:12
21but they shouted, saying, "Crucify! Crucify him!"Lk 23:23 Mt 27:22-25 Mk 15:13 Jn 19:15
22He said to them the third time, "Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him."Lk 23:14 Lk 23:20 1Pe 1:19 1Pe 3:18
23But they were urgent with loud voices, asking that he might be crucified. Their voices and the voices of the chief priests prevailed.Lk 23:5 Ps 22:12 Ps 22:13 Ps 57:4 Zc 11:8
24Pilate adjudged that what they asked for should be done.Mt 27:26 Mk 15:15 Jn 19:1
25He released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus up to their will.Lk 23:2 Lk 23:5 Mk 15:7 Jn 18:40
26When they led him away, they grabbed one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it after Jesus.Mt 27:32-44 Mk 15:21-32 Jn 19:16
27A great multitude of the people followed him, including women who also mourned and lamented him.Lk 23:55 Lk 8:2 Mt 27:55 Mk 15:40
28But Jesus, turning to them, said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, don`t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.So 1:5 So 2:7 So 3:5 So 3:10 So 5:8 So 5:16 So 8:4
29For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, `Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.`Lk 21:23 Lk 21:24 Mt 24:19 Mk 13:17-19

37and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
38An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."Lk 23:3 Mt 27:11 Mt 27:37 Mk 15:18 Mk 15:26 Mk 15:32 Jn 19:3 Jn 19:19-22
39One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"Lk 17:34-36 Mt 27:44 Mk 15:32
40But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don`t you even fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation?Lv 19:17 Eph 5:11

44It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.Mt 27:45 Mk 15:33

52this man went to Pilate, and asked for Jesus` body.Jn 19:38-42

54It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was coming on.Mt 27:62 Jn 19:14 Jn 19:31 Jn 19:42
55The women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid.Lk 23:49 Lk 8:2 Mt 27:61 Mk 15:47
56They returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.Lk 24:1 2Ch 16:14 Mk 16:1
