The word of Yahweh came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,1Ki 16:7 2Ch 19:2 2Ch 20:34
Because I exalted you out of the dust, and made you prince over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;1Ki 14:7 1Sa 2:8 1Sa 2:27 1Sa 2:28 1Sa 15:17-19 2Sa 12:7-11 Ps 113:7 Ps 113:8 Lk 1:52
behold, I will utterly sweep away Baasha and his house; and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.1Ki 16:11 1Ki 16:12 1Ki 14:10 1Ki 15:29 1Ki 15:30 1Ki 21:21-24 Isa 66:24 Jer 22:19
Him who dies of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him who dies of his in the field shall the birds of the sky eat.1Ki 14:11
Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, aren`t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?1Ki 14:19 1Ki 15:31 2Ch 16:1-6
Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah; and Elah his son reigned in his place.1Ki 14:20 1Ki 15:25
Moreover by the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of Yahweh against Baasha, and against his house, both because of all the evil that he did in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam, and because he struck him.1Ki 16:1 1Ki 16:2
In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, [and reigned] two years.
His servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him. Now he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah:2Ki 9:31
and Zimri went in and struck him, and killed him, in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his place.2Ki 9:31
It happened, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he struck all the house of Baasha: he didn`t leave him a single man-child, neither of his relatives, nor of his friends.1Ki 15:29 Jg 1:7
Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,1Ki 16:1 1Ki 16:7 1Ki 14:18 2Ki 14:25 2Ch 10:15 Pr 26:6
for all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, which they sinned, and with which they made Israel to sin, to provoke Yahweh, the God of Israel, to anger with their vanities.1Ki 15:30
Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, aren`t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. Now the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.1Ki 16:8 2Ki 9:31 Jb 20:5 Ps 37:35
The people who were encamped heard say, Zimri has conspired, and has also struck the king: therefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.1Ki 16:30 2Ki 8:26 2Ch 22:2 Mic 6:16
Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.Jg 9:45 Jg 9:50 Jg 9:56 Jg 9:57 2Ki 6:24 2Ki 6:25 2Ki 18:9-12 2Ki 25:1-4 Lk 19:43 Lk 19:44
It happened, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the castle of the king`s house, and burnt the king`s house over him with fire, and died,Jg 9:54 1Sa 31:4 1Sa 31:5 2Sa 17:23 Jb 2:9 Jb 2:10 Mt 27:5
for his sins which he sinned in doing that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.1Ki 16:7 1Ki 16:13 1Ki 15:30 Ps 9:16 Ps 58:9-11
Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he did, aren`t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?1Ki 16:5 1Ki 16:14 1Ki 16:27 1Ki 14:19 1Ki 15:31 1Ki 22:39
Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.1Ki 16:8 1Ki 16:29 1Ki 15:25 1Ki 15:28 Pr 28:2 Isa 9:18-21 Isa 19:2 Mt 12:25 1Co 1:12 1Co 1:13 Eph 4:3-5
But the people who followed Omri prevailed against the people who followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, [and reigned] twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.2Ch 22:2
He bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver; and he built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill, Samaria.1Ki 13:32 1Ki 18:2 1Ki 20:1 1Ki 22:37 2Ki 17:1 2Ki 17:6 2Ki 17:24 Jn 4:4 Jn 4:5 Ac 8:5-8
Omri did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, and dealt wickedly above all who were before him.1Ki 16:30 1Ki 16:31 1Ki 16:33 1Ki 14:9 Mic 6:16
For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sins with which he made Israel to sin, to provoke Yahweh, the God of Israel, to anger with their vanities.1Ki 16:2 1Ki 16:7 1Ki 16:19 1Ki 12:26-33 1Ki 13:33 1Ki 13:34
Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, aren`t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?1Ki 16:5 1Ki 16:14 1Ki 16:20 1Ki 15:31
So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria; and Ahab his son reigned in his place.
In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.
Ahab the son of Omri did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh above all that were before him.1Ki 16:25 1Ki 16:31 1Ki 16:33 1Ki 14:9 1Ki 21:25 2Ki 3:2
It happened, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.Gn 30:15 Nm 16:9 Isa 7:13 Ezk 8:17 Ezk 16:20 Ezk 16:47 Ezk 34:18
He reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.2Ki 10:21 2Ki 10:26 2Ki 10:27
Ahab made the Asherah; and Ahab did yet more to provoke Yahweh, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.Ex 34:13 2Ki 13:6 2Ki 17:16 2Ki 21:3 Jer 17:1 Jer 17:2
In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation of it with the loss of Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates of it with the loss of his youngest son Segub, according to the word of Yahweh, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.Jsh 6:26 Jsh 23:14 Jsh 23:15 Zc 1:5 Mt 24:35
