9Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.Gn 16:3-6 Gn 16:15-6 Gn 17:20

12God said to Abraham, "Don`t let it be grievous in your sight because of the boy, and because of your handmaid. In all that Sarah says to you, listen to her voice. For from Isaac will your seed be called.1Sa 8:7 1Sa 8:9 Isa 46:10

14Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.Gn 19:27 Gn 22:3 Gn 24:54 Gn 26:31 Ps 119:60 Pr 27:14 Ec 9:10

16She went and sat down opposite him, a good way off, about a bow shot away. For she said, "Don`t let me see the death of the child." She sat over against him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.Gn 44:34 1Ki 3:26 Es 8:6 Isa 49:15 Zc 12:10 Lk 15:20
17God heard the voice of the boy. The angel of God called to Hagar out of the sky, and said to her, "What ails you, Hagar? Don`t be afraid. For God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.Gn 16:11 Ex 3:7 Ex 22:23 Ex 22:27 2Ki 13:4 2Ki 13:23 Ps 50:15 Ps 65:2 Ps 91:15 Mt 15:32

19God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went, filled the bottle with water, and gave the boy drink.Nm 22:31 2Ki 6:17-20 Isa 35:5 Isa 35:6 Lk 24:16-31
20God was with the boy, and he grew. He lived in the wilderness, and became, as he grew up, an archer.Gn 17:20 Gn 28:15 Gn 39:2 Gn 39:3 Gn 39:21 Jg 6:12 Jg 13:24 Jg 13:25 Lk 1:80 Lk 2:40
21He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother took a wife for him out of the land of Egypt.Nm 10:12 Nm 12:16 Nm 13:3 Nm 13:26 1Sa 25:1
22It happened at that time, that Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his host spoke to Abraham, saying, "God is with you in all that you do.Gn 20:2 Gn 26:26
23Now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son`s son. 26Abimelech said, I don`t know who has done this thing. Neither did you tell me, neither did I hear of it, until today."Gn 13:7 2Ki 5:20-24
27Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them to Abimelech. Those two made a covenant.Gn 14:22 Gn 14:23 Pr 17:8 Pr 18:16 Pr 18:24 Pr 21:14 Isa 32:8
28Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
29Abimelech said to Abraham, "What do these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves mean?"Gn 33:8 Ex 12:26 1Sa 15:14
30He said, "You shall take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, that it may be a witness to me, that I have dug this well."Gn 31:44-48 Gn 31:52-48 Jsh 22:27 Jsh 22:28 Jsh 24:27
31Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore there.Gn 26:33
32So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Abimelech rose up with Phicol, the captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.Gn 21:27 Gn 14:13 Gn 31:53 1Sa 18:3
33Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and called there on the name of Yahweh, the Everlasting God.Am 8:14
34Abraham sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days.Gn 20:1 1Ch 29:15 Ps 39:12 Heb 11:9 Heb 11:13 1Pe 2:11
