For you yourselves know, brothers, our visit to you hasn`t been found vain,1Th 2:13 1Th 1:3-10 2Th 3:1
but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we grew bold in our God to tell you the gospel of God in much conflict.Ac 5:41 Ac 16:12 Ac 16:22-24 Ac 16:37-24 2Ti 1:12 Heb 11:36 Heb 11:37 Heb 12:2 Heb 12:3 1Pe 2:14-16
For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.1Th 2:5 1Th 2:6 1Th 2:11 1Th 4:1 1Th 4:2 Nm 16:15 1Sa 12:3 Ac 20:33 Ac 20:34 2Co 2:17 2Co 4:2 2Co 4:5 2Co 7:2 2Co 11:13 2Co 12:16-18 2Pe 1:16
But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.1Co 7:25 Eph 3:8 1Ti 1:11-13
For neither were we at any time found using words of flattery, as you know, nor a cloak of covetousness (God is witness),Jb 17:5 Jb 32:21 Jb 32:22 Ps 12:2 Ps 12:3 Pr 20:19 Pr 26:28 Pr 28:23 Isa 30:10 Mt 22:16 2Pe 2:18

For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.1Th 1:2 1Th 1:3 Ro 1:8 Ro 1:9
For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews;1Th 1:6

But we, brothers, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence, not in heart, tried even harder to see your face with great desire,2Ki 5:26 Ac 17:10 1Co 5:3 Col 2:5
