The American Standard Version was a minor American revision of the English Revised Version of 1881 and became the foundation of several 20th century American versions, including the Revised Standard Version (RSV) and the New American Standard Bible (NASB).

9Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his place.2Ki 13:13 2Ki 10:35 1Ki 14:13
10In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] sixteen years.

15Elisha said to him, Take bow and arrows; and he took to him bow and arrows.

17He said, Open the window eastward; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot; and he shot. He said, Yahweh`s arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Syria; for you shall strike the Syrians in Aphek, until you have consumed them.2Ki 5:10-14 Jn 2:5-8 Jn 11:39-41
18He said, Take the arrows; and he took them. He said to the king of Israel, Smite on the ground; and he struck thrice, and stayed.Isa 20:2-4 Ezk 4:1-10 Ezk 5:1-4 Ezk 12:1-7

20Elisha died, and they buried him. Now the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.2Ch 24:16 Ac 8:2

24Hazael king of Syria died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his place.Ps 125:3 Lk 18:7
25Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash strike him, and recovered the cities of Israel.2Ki 13:18 2Ki 13:19
